Please work on the Test Plan.

  • Unit Testing
    • Each Menu option is a unit.  Test each Menu Option (sub-menus included) to show how it works.  
    • Where changes are made to text file, you must show the file before and after the changes are made. 
    • One heading per unit/function is needed.
  • Integration Testing
    • Display menu screen first
    • Show that when option is selected to correct unit is called/invoked

NB:  Every diagram MUST be labelled with a brief description attached.

         For EACH test with normal data and abnormal data, and show how   

         your system handles each situation.

This section must be done in size 12 Times New Roman.

Remember, explanation and a good walk-through are needed, with you referring to the diagrams used.  Also test for abnormal data for places where you handled them.  For example, wrong menu choice, incorrect passwords and such likes.

MODULE 1  - DATA STRUCTURES

              On completion of this Module, students should:

                     **appreciate the use of abstract data types (ADTs) in the efficient

                         manipulation of data;

                     **understand basic algorithms for sorting and searching.

MODULE 2 - SOFTWARE ENGINEERING 

             On completion of this module, students should:

                    **understand the phases of the software development life cycle;

                    **have an appreciation for the methods, processes, tools and techniques

                       used in software engineering

MODULE 3 - OPERATING SYSTEMS AND COMPUTER NETWORKS

                   On completion of this module, students should:

                    **understand the functions of the Operating System;
